Now as I know for a fact that YOU are reading this blog..Which means you know how to use blogger...Well have you ever wondered How to make your own blog? Well worry no more!!
Here is a step by step guide on how to make your own blog! Enjoy!
Step Number 1:
Log in into Blogger using your googlemail account! You will then be taken to a page like the one below!
Click 'New Blog'
Step Number 2:
You will then come up with a screen showing the first basic details you need to put in to create the basics of the Blog!
You will need a 'Title' A custom 'Website Address' which will be used to find your blog, and a 'Template' which can be changed any time after you have created the blog!
Once done...Click Create blog!
You have now created your blog! But are you a bit confused on the tool bar that comes up or how to make nice effects etc.. Fear not! This step by step guide does not finish here!
Step Number 3:
One done your blog will be made...BUT you still have to edit what it look like!
Click the title of your blog and you will be taken through to the tool-bar page! ( Just for this I have called it Testing!!!)
Step Number 5:
This Page Shall Come Up!!! No for those of you who can not see this screen shot properly here is the Key:
Purple-Posts this is where all the posts that you have done will come up!
Green-Comments, This is where all the comments will come up form people who have commented on you blog!
Red-Stats, Here you will the people who have been viewing your blog..Where from...Using which Internet server...etc..
Dark Blue- Layout, Here you change where the Title goes of which the side the tool-bar goes on..Or even what colour the background every post will have!
Light Blue-Template And Setting, That is not very important at the moment!
On the right hand side the is a a Bog which i have highlighted with a Blue Square! This is where you will see your general stats ( not in-depth) You will How many Published Comments You have..How may page views you have had today! How many posts you have done and how many people are following you blog!
Phew! Step Number 5 as a biggen! Now are you still with me...If you are read on as i will show you in Depth what each of the above are!
Step Number 6:
Now On the Left Hand side is the tool-bar that I have explained above..Click on the First Icon 'Posts'
In the Blue Box that i have highlighted is where all the posts will appear after you have done them and even the ones that you have Scheduled or in the Draft section!
You can also Edit your posts if for example you have posted it and then you are reading it thought and you find a Spelling error...You can come onto here and change it!
Step Number 8:
Going back to the Original Page In Step Number 5..Click on the Left hand side the Icon That says Comments!
Here All the comments on your blog will appear...Here you can reply to them and even maybe Delete them if you find them Offensive...!
Still With Me?? We are nearly at the end now so hang on a bit!
Step Number 10:
Now going back AGAIN to the original page at Step Number 5...on the left hand side tool bar click on the Stats Icon!
Step Number 11:
On the top Left hand side there is an Orange box that I have highlighted ...there it shows you all your page views compiled form all your posts onto a Graph!!
On the Bottom Left there is another Orange Box that i have highlighted..There it will show a Breakdown of your views for each post
In the Top Right hand side the is A green Box that I have Highlighted...There it will show you yours Page Views that day...The Day Before...The previous Month..And All time!
In the Bottom Right hand in the Pink Box that I have highlighted...There is will show you a Map of the world Showing you where your Views have come from all around the World!
Step Number 12:
No going back the the original Tool-Bar Page You will see at the Very top there is a big Orange post that says 'New Post' Click on This!
Step Number 13:
At The top There will be a bar..This is where you type the title of your Post!
Below it is a huge open white plain box...In there is where you type the main body of the text!
Over View!
Now...at the begging...We typed in the Title Of our Page...This is what the title will look like!
The Below Is Picture Is where Your Posts Go...The title and then the main body of the Text!
